DueMD explains payment calculations and contract-review methods. The guides use worked examples; reference tools identify the source data used for a result.
Authorship and reader questions
Articles and answers are written by DueMD. “Editorial answer” means an explanation prepared for the site, not a customer testimonial. A question based on a reader submission can be published only with the separate permission recorded in Ask DueMD.
Examples and sources
Numerical examples illustrate a method. They are not customer results or industry averages. Where a statement depends on an external source, the relevant document is linked. The methodology page sets out the formulas and rounding used by the tools.
What a review should cover
Our publication criteria are the scope of the question, supporting sources, arithmetic, privacy risks and links to the appropriate next step. AI-assisted drafting does not replace those checks. “Written by DueMD” identifies authorship; it does not claim a clinician, certified coder or lawyer has reviewed the page.
Corrections and data versions
Guides explain principles rather than publish live rates or a policy-news feed. Errors, changes to a calculation method or relevant source changes trigger a review. Article dates are not changed just to suggest freshness.
The Medicare lookup is different: its dataset version, supported dates and limits stay visible. A guide without a year in its title does not make an older data snapshot current.
To flag a problem, send the page title and a short explanation. A small illustrative calculation is useful; patient records and confidential documents are not required.
Check the reference
Use the source directory to find the official documentation or calculation methods to reproduce a result. A source link does not imply endorsement by that organization.
